Here's a small upgrade that makes a disproportionately big difference at events: chair covers.

A standard folding chair is functional, but it's also the thing your guests are looking at all night. Slip a polyester cover over it, tie a satin sash around the back in your accent color, and that same chair suddenly belongs at a wedding reception, a 50th anniversary dinner, or a corporate awards night. Photographers love them too — the rows of matching chairs pull a venue together in a way bare chairs simply don't
What we rent:
Polyester chair covers — $2.25 each, available in most colors
Spandex chair covers (a tighter, more modern fit) — $3.00 each in black
Satin chair sashes — $3.00, dozens of colors
Polyester chair sashes — $1.75, dozens of colors
For a 150-guest wedding, that's roughly $340 for covers and sashes combined — usually less than what most couples spend on a single centerpiece, with a much bigger visual payoff.

Let's talk about something most rental companies bury in the fine print — how deposits and cancellations actually work. We'd rather you understand the policy before you book than be surprised by it later.

Here's the breakdown:
Deposit: 50% of your total, due at booking. After the first 24 hours, that deposit is non-refundable.
Cancel 21+ days out: You get back everything you paid above the deposit. The deposit itself converts to a raincheck — good toward any rental within one calendar year.
Cancel inside 21 days: Unfortunately, you forfeit the full amount paid. No raincheck. This isn't about being strict — it's about the reality that we've already turned other customers away for your date.
Payment methods: Cash, business check, and all major credit cards. If you're paying cash, please have it ready at delivery.
Why a 50% deposit? Tent setups, dance floor crews, and linen orders all require us to commit resources weeks ahead of your event — fabric gets pulled, crews get scheduled, delivery routes get built. The deposit reflects what we've already invested by the time your event day arrives.

"What size tablecloth do I need?" is the single most-asked linen question we get, and the answer depends on two things — your table size and how long you want the drape to be.

Here's the cheat sheet for floor-length linens (drop all the way to the ground):
6' rectangle banquet table — 90" x 132"
8' rectangle banquet table — 90" x 156"
60" round table (most common at weddings) — 120" round
72" round table — 132" round
30" cocktail highboy — 120" round or a spandex fit
36" cocktail highboy — 132" round

If you want a shorter drop (about lap-length, which works for casual events and corporate buffets), drop down one size in each category.

A few things worth knowing before you order:
Round linens on rectangle tables don't look right — the corners poke up awkwardly. Match the shape.
Overlays layered on top of a base linen are an easy way to bring in a second color without doubling your spend on full tablecloths.
Spandex fits are designed for one specific table size. Make sure your highboys are actually 30" before ordering 30" linens.

The most common wedding tent question we get is "What size do I actually need?"

Here's the quick math. For a seated dinner with a dance floor and head table, plan on about 10 square feet per guest. So a 20x40 tent seats roughly 80 guests. A 30x60 fits around 180. A 40x80 comfortably hosts 300+. For a cocktail-style reception where most guests are standing, you can squeeze that down to 6 to 8 square feet per person.

The catch — those numbers shift the second you add a bar, a buffet line, a dessert table, a DJ booth, or a sweetheart table. Each one carves into your guest footprint. That's why we do site walks for weddings: we look at the venue, your guest count, and your layout, then recommend the size that won't leave anyone bumping elbows.

The most common regret we hear from event planners: "I should have booked sooner."

Here's the honest reality of event rental timing in Texas. April through October is peak season — wedding season, graduation season, corporate retreat season, fall festival season — and the most-requested items go fast.

A realistic timeline:
Weddings and large corporate events: Book your tent, dance floor, tables, chairs, and linens 6 to 12 months ahead. The bigger your guest count and the more specific your color palette, the earlier you need to lock it in.

Graduation parties, milestone birthdays, anniversaries: 2 to 4 months out for May, June, July, and October dates.

Backyard gatherings outside peak weekends: 4 to 6 weeks is usually fine, though same-week bookings are sometimes possible if inventory allows.
Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day): These book up first. Reserve 3+ months ahead.

The single fastest way to change the look of a room? Linens.

A lot of customers come to us with one color in mind and walk out with three after seeing the swatches in person — because what looks like "blush" on a phone screen can read very differently in fabric. That's why we keep a physical swatch book at our Ennis office. Call ahead, set up a time, and we'll pull every color and fabric you might be considering so you can hold them next to your invitations, flowers, or whatever else is driving the palette.

Here's a quick look at what we rent:
Banquet table linens for 6' and 8' rectangle tables
Round tablecloths for 60" and 72" round tables
Overlays to layer a second color or texture on top
Polyester table skirts in black, white, and ivory (17' and 21' lengths)

What kind of tent should you rent? It really comes down to three things — your surface, your guest count, and the look you're going for.

If you're setting up on grass and want that traditional peaked-ceiling wedding photo, you want a pole tent. They need stakes driven into the ground, so they don't work on hard surfaces, but nothing else looks quite like them.

If your event is on a driveway, parking lot, or anywhere staking isn't possible, a frame tent is the answer. No center poles either, which means more usable space for tables, a dance floor, and a bar.

If you want something that doesn't look like every other tent in town, our high-peak marquee tents have a sharper, more modern shape — great for corporate events, milestone birthdays, and weddings where the venue itself is part of the design.
