I had the pleasure of hosting Stephen Stone again this year. He was the entertainment for Project Graduation 2026 at Enid High School graduation party.

He is only at the B&B for a short time, but we always get a good conversation in about old houses. He loves them too, and told me I could call any time. I will be hitting him up for some ideas and input on some projects I have in mind.

His reservation specialists told me he specifically asked to stay at the Southard House. That makes my heart happy. I love having return guests.

I had the privelege of hosting a mother daughter duo. They were extremely intelligent-one was an Archaeologist from Tulsa and one was a Public Health Officer from Israel. I wanted to sit and visit with them for hours, but they had a schedule to keep. Turns out they both have a fondness for bird watching like I do.

I love meeting new people and learning about them, and I am thankful they chose Southard House to rest during their journey across Oklahoma while bird watching.

I never thought I would be ironing sheets and pillowcases, but here I am ironing sheets and pillowcases for my guests.

I took them out of the washing machine and put them in the dryer immediately. Took them out as soon as they were dry.

I wonder if the heat setting is too high. I will be running a test on the next load of sheets.

Its the Bed and Breakfast life and I love it!! Ironing and all.
