📣 It’s our final week at Berkeley College
This Thursday, August 7 will be our last official day of café service and the close of a chapter that has meant so much to us.
Berkeley is where it all began. Once strangers, this was the place where the two of us first met. Years later, we returned as alumni and business owners, building something of our own in the very halls that helped shape our journey. From pop ups to full café service, we built something special here.
Even with the challenges that came with this space, we showed up every day with heart, hustle, and purpose. It reminded us of our strength, our worth, and the importance of growing into spaces that truly support what we’re creating.
We weren’t just a café. We were part of the Berkeley community. We decorated our space to reflect school events and themed calendar days, turning the café into a place that celebrated the same moments students and faculty did. For Women’s History Month, Spanish Heritage Month, Black History Month, and more, we brought those stories to life through food and gave the community a culinary journey that matched what the school was highlighting.
We took pride in offering culturally diverse food made fresh from scratch, whether it was a hot plated meal or one of Vanessa’s custom cakes designed to match your vision. We showed up with intention and care every single time.
To every student who stopped by, to the staff who checked in on us, to the library team who welcomed us from day one, thank you for becoming part of our story. You’re the reason this chapter meant something.
