NO THANKS FEST

NO THANKS FEST A volunteer run, annual DIY Music Festival on a 1600 acre Nature Reserve in Emory Texas. Camping and music the entire weekend. Running water and restrooms.

This year's fest will be taking place NOVEMBER 6-8. Bring your own food, camping supplies, and rain gear. Ten minute drive from grocery stores and gas stations. NO GUNS. PERIOD. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY THAT ALL ATTENDEES CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR CAMPSITE AS THIS IS A NATURE RESERVE! DIRECTIONS FROM DALLAS:

TAKE I-30 EAST
EXIT HWY 69 SOUTH (IN GREENVILLE TEXAS)
TAKE HWY 69 TO EMORY TEXAS
TAKE A RI

GHT ON 19 SOUTH (STOP LIGHT)
DRIVE APPROX. A MILE DOWN 19 SOUTH
TAKE A RIGHT ON COUNTY ROAD 1150/2120 (RIGHT AFTER A SPEED LIMIT SIGN) -LOOK FOR THE NO THANKS SIGN ON THE CORNER-
DRIVE DOWN A BLACKTOP MILE APPROX 2 MILES, THEN A GRAVEL ROAD APPROX A MILE (YOU HAVENT GONE TOO FAR IT'S OKAY)
LOOK FOR ANOTHER SIGN APPROX A QUARTER MILE POINTING YOU TO THE OPENING OF NO THANKS LAND
YOU ARE THERE!

I want to thank everyone that has ever played, attended, help out with a benefit show, or anything involving NO THANKS FEST. This year was an incredible time! You all are an amazing group of people from all over the country and I am a very lucky to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a gathering. It's always been my favorite time of the year. This will be the last year I will be putting the fest together. Unfortunately, my work situation no longer affords me the flexibility to continue both playing in touring bands and booking festivals. IF ANYONE WANTS TO TAKE UP THE REINS, PLEASE TALK TO ME. I am the third person to produce the fest and there's no reason I should be the last.

I LOVE YOU ALL. NO THANKS FOREVER.

We need kitchen volunteers for this year! Let us know if you are interested in helping out! Also any food donations would be great! Unfortunately, the amazing Jessica Luther can't make it this year. Let's all try and pick up the slack! See you in the woods!
