We’re sharing this important reminder to help our vendors and local businesses stay alert! Unfortunately, scam emails can happen around any event, and scammers are getting more creative, even using links to official event pages to make their messages look legitimate.

As we head into the upcoming Harvest Festival events and start looking ahead to next year’s Cherry Festival, we want to remind all of our vendors to stay cautious and double-check any emails or payment requests you receive regarding events.

Whether you’re participating in the Harvest Festival, Cherry Festival, or any other event in, please stay alert and protect yourself from scams!

If you ever receive something that doesn’t look right, reach out to the organization directly before sending payment or personal information.

🚨 SCAM ALERT – HARVEST FESTIVAL VENDORS 🚨

It’s that time of year again, and unfortunately, scam emails are being sent out to vendors for our Harvest Festival Street Fair. Some of these emails may even include links to our official Facebook event, making them look very convincing. Please be aware that these are NOT emails from the Gem County Chamber of Commerce.

For your protection, here are a few important reminders:

The ONLY contacts for the Chamber office are Tina and Janelle. We are the only two people who work in the Chamber office and will be communicating with vendors regarding the Harvest Festival. You can always find our official Harvest Festival Street Fair applications on the Chamber's website.

🚨 DO NOT send money through Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, or any other payment method requested through an unsolicited email.

If you receive an email regarding the Harvest Festival and something doesn’t seem right, please don’t hesitate to contact us before sending any information or payment.

The Cherry Festival may be over, but the fun doesn't stop in Emmett! 🍂 While the Emmett Harvest Festival Street Fair is a different event, it's another long-standing community tradition that has been bringing people together for 33 years. Take a stroll through downtown Emmett, shop from local vendors, enjoy great food, check out the small businesses and experience the hometown charm that makes this event so special. Be sure to check it out this fall!

It Takes a Community to Make the Cherry Festival Happen! 🍒

The Emmett Cherry Festival is so much more than a four-day event, it's the result of countless people working together behind the scenes to make it all possible.

From our incredible volunteers and dedicated entertainers to our sponsors, community partners, city crews, and everyone who gave their time and talents, we want to say THANK YOU. Every person listed in this photo played a part in making this year's festival such a success.

With only two people (Tina and Janelle) organizing the festival, we truly couldn't do it without the support of this amazing community. Whether you helped for an hour, a day, or months leading up to the festival, your efforts did not go unnoticed.

A big THANK YOU to Gem Orchards for helping bring the cherry spirit to the Emmett Cherry Festival this year! The cherries were red and juicy! 🍒

We are so thankful for our local orchards and the hard work they put in to provide fresh, local fruit for our community. This year brought some challenges with a warm winter followed by a freeze, which meant some of our orchards did not have as much produce available by the time Cherry Festival arrived.

Even with those challenges, we are incredibly grateful to have amazing orchards right here in Gem County that continue to grow and provide a variety of delicious fruits throughout the seasons.

Congratulations to our Emmett Cherry Festival Pie Eating Contest winners! 🍒🥧

Our contestants came hungry and ready to compete, and they definitely brought the fun! We loved seeing everyone join in, cheer on the participants, and enjoy one of the sweetest traditions at the Cherry Festival.

This year we even had two ties! To break the tie, contestants had to dig through a pile of whipped cream to find the hidden cherry and the first person to find it took the win!
