One week inspired a whole lot of impact ๐ซถ
In celebration of streamlinevents' Volunteer Week, our team got out into their local communities and gave their time to causes that mattered to them.
Together, 20 team members contributed 95.5 volunteer hours across communities around the country. And those hours took all kinds of forms:
๐ฝ๏ธ Organized groceries, supported a hands-on culinary skills program, and helped serve 120+ meals at Roberti Community House in Waukegan, Illinois
๐ Packed 8,700 oranges at the Idaho Foodbank
๐ฆ Packed 306 boxes at the Capital Area Food Bank in D.C.
๐ฅ Sorted 4,130 pounds of food at the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina
๐พ Processed 14,266 pounds of pet food and supplies at the San Antonio Food Bank
โค๏ธ Across two shifts, sorted 49,483 pounds of food, supporting 41,071 meals, at Alameda County Community Food Bank
๐ฑ Helped clean the kidsโ education kitchen and w**d crops at The HEAL Project Farm in Half Moon Bay
๐ Helped an elementary school prepare for the first day of school in Antioch
๐ฉธ Donated blood in Minneapolis, with one teammate reaching nearly six gallons donated to date
๐ค Joined a Salt Lake City program helping welcome and support a newly relocated refugee
โจ And more! These are just some of the ways our team gave back and the stories they shared with us.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and brought their time, energy, and care to the communities they call home. Weโre proud of what our team can accomplish together. ๐
