A bit about the man we celebrate today:
• Ministering Evangelist/Pastor of West Oakland Church of Christ since January 2001—over 24 years of spiritual leadership and service  .
• CEO & Founder of Saheli7 Educational Consulting since 2007, leveraging his expertise in education and justice systems .
• Director of Student Support Services in the San Lorenzo Unified School District for more than 13 years, championing equity, mental health, and restorative practices .
• Graduate-level educator at San Francisco State University, teaching future counselors .
• Author of Eerie Silence: Race/Racism Explored Across Educational, Theological, and Justice Continuums Amidst America and Beyond (2018), a powerful work bridging theology, education, psychology, and social justice .
• Holds a Doctorate in International & Multicultural Education (USF, 2003), along with an MS in Counseling and BA in Psychology from San Francisco State University .
• A passionate advocate in resolving civil‑rights complaints and implementing equitable policies in schools .
• Conducted missionary work in Ghana (2005 & 2007) and continues to lead thought-provoking conversations worldwide .
