This week: We have a small interruption in your regularly scheduled Frosty Flounder visits because the truck is FINALLY getting air conditioning installed. This will be an internal AC system within the engine, so fingers crossed that it actually works and fits. If not…. We will figure out something else. Ha!

NEXT WEEK: Julie is working the routes all week, so please be patient with her and I. We won’t be able to turn around quite as much for missed houses due to me being unavailable, so just try to be outside around our normal times/days, and listen out for the music.

Next Monday night we are going to be at an AMAZING event and I can’t wait to see photos! Stoked to have The Frosty Flounder there! But that does mean that the route next Monday will be cut a little short. Other then that, we have visits to all of our regular locations and we are excited to get the summer started! It’s PACKED and it’s not even 9! Come on down to the Hem in Swansboro for their grand re-opening! Free ice cream for everyone in your party with proof of purchase from the Hem of His Garment. Ice cream is from 9am until supplies run out! (Or 1pm!)

FREE ICE CREAM (with proof of purchase) AT THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT THIS SATURDAY FROM 9-1 (while supplies last!) if we run out, we will be done sooner, but come on down this Saturday morning to see the newly remodeled Hem of His Garment! The Hem is a pillar in our community. You will often find me there on a Tuesday morning, because buying from the Hem is not only good for our environment, but good for the people of Onslow and Carteret County. Also, I love a good deal! Who doesn’t?! So come visit me this Saturday at The Hem of His Garment in Swansboro from 9-1 to check out the newly remodeled Hem, and grab a free ice cream for your family. Must show receipt of purchase from The Hem to get ice creams for the family. And don’t forget that donations are taken on Saturdays, so bring your donations and come find your next bike, or your favorite summer tank top!

Still on a rush of joy from two Saturdays ago. I am so grateful to have a team to help me, an amazing beach town that I call home, and great friends and customers! What a blessing this weekend was. Thank you all for your support! And thank you, Brenda, for the first 3 videos and photos! You are the best!! So grateful to call my home! Love you guys!

Grateful for the Americans that have served our Country and have given everything for you and me. It’s more then most of us could comprehend. Say a prayer for their families today while you are enjoying your friends and family’s company.
This weeks schedule is a calm schedule. No events. I will do the Stella neighborhoods I missed last Tuesday, you guys are every other week, so make sure to tell your neighbors to come out when they hear me and wait at the street. Mark your calendars.
Next week will be a short week as I go out of town on Thursday, and the truck FINALLY gets the AC installed (fingers crossed it fits!). Then Julie will run routes while I am away enjoying family time.
Side note: Thank you all for being so sweet to Julie and I (and Ms M at events). We appreciate your kindness. It’s what keeps us coming back and looking forward to serving your neighborhood and events. We get MANY requests to go to more places and we just can’t reach everyone. We just have the ability to love and support our small local community, and that’s how I want it to stay. We love our small town that we call home (Emerald Isle), and love the small town feel of a local vintage truck. We want to respect our neighbors, respect our local businesses, and stay small so you get that positive local experience. We aren’t just looking out for our business, we are looking out for our community. The Frosty Flounder looks forward to seeing you this week! Happy Summer to many of you kiddos from private schools! Thank you to all of them for having me at your events. IT WAS A GREAT WEEK!
