With HJ Res. 140 coming to a vote today I wanted to make a wide selection from trips overs the year to highlight what is truly at risk because of this action.

This style of mining will destroy the ecosystem and cause unimaginable harm to the lives that rely on it.

Growing up in Minnesota alone gives you a greater appreciation for nature I’d like to say. With the BWCA I’ll say it’s created an appreciation like no other in me. A large majority of my earliest memories are of the cabin. Which is why I bring this to other people’s attention in the hopes to not let the BWCA be torn apart by rich dudes in offices thousands of miles away from ever seeing what they do.

(Surprise to the family members who hadn’t seen the first one in years, I hadn’t either)

H.J. Res. 140 introduced by Rep Pete Stauber as a way to overturn a “Biden Era” mining ban seeks to return the mining leases back to Twin Metals, a subsidiary of the Chilean mining giant Antofagasta. This company has a horrendous and corrupt track record and in no way should be trusted to operate “safely” so close to a natural area like the BWCA.

To please the algorithm overlords, gonna resume the last couple of sets!

I had the opportunity to shoot for one of the nicest, humble, and incredibly talented individuals back in December! It was one of the nights that truly reminded me why I love this music and all of its unique sub-genres with this being my first time working with a techno artist of any style.

Also coming up, some content for the BWCA to stay informed on how to fight against the potential sale of mining rights to a Chilean shell company. This bill has unfortunately already passed the house, but will hopefully stop at the senate. Let’s hope at least 🥲🥴
