Well the orders have been placed and the lake store will be fully stocked in the next couple of days!

We hired more staff this year than ever to speed up our service and offer more products.

Thousands of shiner minnows, blackhead minnows, leeches, bluegill, night crawlers and chicken livers.

117 gallons of made-in-Nebraska ice cream with some new flavors dropping this weekend that have never been served at Johnson Lake in the past!

Dozens of farm fresh eggs, donuts, homemade buttercream cake slices, scotcheroos, and yummy breakfast burritos!

Hundreds of redbulls, pops, and syrups to make all the infusions and dirty sodas!

Over a hundred pounds of coffee beans for hot and iced lattes!

Rain or shine, we will be the destination for all things fun and yum at Johnson Lake! We built it, then enhanced it…so now we wait and hope the masses come support it this holiday weekend and throughout the summer!

When we were planning for our 2026 lake store season (last fall) we came up with some new ideas to help live out our mission of ‘enhancing the lake life’ and ‘making profits with a purpose’. We are excited for the public to start enjoying the fruits of our labor:

-provide healthy kids drink options (organic and sugarfree)
-provide Red Bull infusions for that extra tasty energy boost
-provide grab and go cold brew (or we can pour it over ice)
-expand our snack menu to include homemade scotcheroos, buttercream cake slices, and rice crispy treats
-provide more outdoor seating in our patio area and utilize the sides of the building (including fire pits for those crisp nights)
-create more curb appeal for the waterside of our building (have you seen the huge upgrades yet 😍)
-start renting out a fishing boat that seats 4 adults comfortably for a reasonable price
-sell fancy electric golf carts without the huge price tag you see at dealerships
-sell firewood bundles or deliver to cabins by the tote full thanks to Double L Tree Service
