This little red-head made his mom and dad certainly feel pretty lucky. First time parents and boy did they hit the jackpot! Just look at that smile! Celebrating his three month mile stone with a few images to remember this moment. Those little tiny fingers and toes and the priceless expressions.....Simply precious!!!

Some of my favorite peeps! Seeing these faces makes all the craziness in this world fade. I love watching the excitement of the simple moments through the eyes of the two youngest members of this crew, even if it is only for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. Blessed!

Elmhurst is booming with new spots to try.....from awesome sandwiches at Pronto to fun drinks and swanky vibe at LoKey or hanging by the outside fire pit (loved the pineapple infused vodka martini) and meeting new friends at Victory Tap or the hanging at the fun bar and enjoying some unique bites and drinks at Spark Scent Collective (great space!). There are so many more to explore! Gotta love living in Elmhurst!!!

WHOO-HOO! This little guy will not be left behind. He is the caboose in this very active family, so learning to ride is not an option. Mom was just near by to make sure he was safe, but he was well on his way when I captured this photo to becoming a master. Definitely a mile-stone for this guy.

It's official...It is Summer Break in Elmhurst! The streets filled with families strolling, bikes stacked outside kids favorite meeting places, cooling off in the fountain, side walk dinning and just enjoying those warm days we have been waiting ...and waiting for so long. Elmhurst has so many great places (new and old) to explore. Grab your families and just take a walk downtown Elmhurst and check it out!

Elmhurst's streets were lined with families all decked out in their RED WHITE and BLUE to celebrate the annual Memorial Day Parade. Kids came equipped with bags for all the goodies being passed out and they most certainly did not go home empty handed. Bands and chiors performed all of the traditional favorites as the crowd sang along. The parade ended with a ceremony celebrating and remembering the heroes who risked or gave their lives for our freedom. It was thoughtfully delivered and if you took nothing else away from yesterday it would be to never forget those who have sacrificed for YOUR freedom and just how incredibly lucky we are to live in the USA.
