Zachary Steele Event Planning Pittsburgh, PA based wedding and event planner ready to make your special day absolutely perfect!

Something I absolutely LOVE about the Pittsburgh wedding industry? We don’t have to tear each other down to build our own businesses. 🤍

Planners support planners.
Photographers support photographers.
Florists support florists.
DJs support DJs.
Venues support vendors.

We refer each other, share each other’s work, recommend each other to our couples, celebrate each other’s wins, and show up when someone needs help.

Because another planner getting booked doesn’t take a wedding away from me. There is room for all of us to grow. The Pittsburgh wedding industry is filled with incredibly talented people, and I truly believe we’re better when we work with each other instead of against each other.

So here’s to the vendors who clap for their “competition,” send referrals their way, share their posts, and genuinely want to see everyone succeed. 🥂

Community over competition. Always. 🤍

Tag a wedding vendor who makes this industry better just by being in it. 👇🏼

If you’re getting married, please don’t underestimate 15 minutes of golden hour.

That little window when the sun is low, the light is soft, and suddenly your wedding photos look like they belong in a magazine. 😍

Golden hour gives you:
✨ Dreamy, romantic lighting
✨ A chance to sneak away from the reception for a few minutes
✨ Those intimate “just married” photos without a crowd around you
✨ A moment to actually breathe and take in the fact that YOU’RE MARRIED

And honestly? One of my favorite parts as a coordinator is pulling couples away for those few minutes and watching them forget everything else happening around them.

Your wedding day goes by FAST. Take the 10–15 minutes. You won’t regret it. 🤍

Save this for your wedding planning checklist 📌 and send it to a bride who needs to see it!

08/31/2026

You’ve probably seen me talking about weddings, timelines, seating charts, emergency kits and making sure nobody’s asking the bride a single question about the day.

But you probably don’t know much about ME.

So… allow me to reintroduce myself. 🤍

I’m the person behind the wedding coordination business, and since there are a lot of new faces around here, I thought it was time for a little “get to know your wedding coordinator” moment.

✨ I went to Kiski Area High School and grew up in the Vandergrift area. But live in the North Hills now.
✨ I have been with my husband for 8 years and married for 4.
✨ I have two pugs, Nora and Sherman.
✨ My favorite part of a wedding day is the parent dances. They always bring out a tear or two.
✨ I love the Pittsburgh Cookie Table. Like, a lot.
✨ I am a November 1st is Christmas kinda guy. And I transform my house into basically a Christmas wonderland.
✨ I love going to new places and seeing/learning about new things. A self guided audio tour hates to see me coming.
✨ Dolly Parton and Elle Woods are my girls.
✨ I still have a full time job outside of weddings at Moio’s Italian Pastry Shop where I have been for 11 years!

I’m here to make your wedding day run smoothly, but I’m also the person who will probably become way too invested in your love story and leave your wedding feeling like I just gained two new friends. 🥹🤍

What’s a fun fact or question you want to know about me? 👇🏻

08/30/2026

Honestly, I think every bride needs to hear this Dolly quote while planning her wedding.

Because somewhere between the Pinterest boards, the opinions, the traditions, the trends, the family expectations, and the pressure to make everything perfect…it can become really easy to forget why you’re doing all of this in the first place.

You’re not planning a wedding to impress your guests.

You’re planning a wedding to celebrate your love story.

The two people who met.
The memories you’ve made.
The families who shaped you.
The friends who stood beside you.
The little things that make your relationship yours.

As a coordinator, I get to see so much of a wedding day.

But the moments that stay with me aren’t always the biggest or most expensive ones.

It’s the bride who looks around during dinner and realizes all of her favorite people are in one room.

It’s the groom who tears up seeing his bride walk down the aisle.

It’s the little family tradition that has been passed down for generations.

It’s the inside joke that becomes part of the wedding day.

It’s the song that makes everyone who knows you immediately think, “That is SO them.”

That’s what I want for my couples.

Not a wedding that looks perfect on Instagram.

A wedding that feels like home.

So while you’re planning, don’t lose yourselves trying to make everyone else happy.

Remember who you are.
Remember where you came from.
Remember the people who got you here.

And then build a wedding that tells your story. 🤍

Because at the end of the day, the flowers will fade, the cake will be eaten, and the decorations will come down, but you’ll still have each other.

08/27/2026

Your wedding isn’t really about the flowers, the centerpieces, or even the perfect details. 🤍

It’s about the PEOPLE in the room.

The people who watched your love story unfold.
The people who traveled to celebrate you.
The people who have loved you through every season of life.
The people who are crying during your vows, dancing way too hard, and cheering the loudest when you’re finally announced husband and wife.

Because years from now, you might not remember every little detail… but you’ll remember how that room FELT.

Surrounded by the people you love, celebrating the love you found. 🥹🤍

That’s what makes a wedding unforgettable.

Dolly always had the right thing to say 💕🦋

Wedding planning can feel like a never-ending list of bees 🐝

🐝 Seating chart
🐝 Timeline
🐝 RSVPs
🐝 The weather
🐝 Family opinions
🐝 and the tiny details that suddenly feel HUGE.

But don’t let the stress of planning steal the actual reason you’re doing all of this. Because one day, the planning will be over. The flowers will be in place. The music will start. You’ll walk down the aisle, look around at the people you love, and realize…

THIS is the honey. 🤍

So yes, plan the details. Hire the vendors. Make the timeline. But don’t forget to stop worrying long enough to actually enjoy your wedding. That’s where a coordinator comes in. 😉

Call me.

I promise it’s the best phone call you will make all planning process.

08/24/2026

People ask about the money, the business, the long hours…

But the truth is, that’s not why I do this.

I do it for the bride who finally gets to sit down and enjoy her own cocktail hour. For the groom who isn’t being pulled in 15 different directions. For the couple who gets to dance, laugh, cry, eat their cake, and actually EXPERIENCE their wedding instead of managing it.

I get to make people’s biggest days feel a little easier and a lot more fun.

And getting paid to do something that makes people feel that happy? That’s what makes this my dream job. 🤍✨

08/20/2026

You see the finished reception room. ✨
I see the hours of work that happened before anyone walked through the doors.

Tables placed. Linens steamed. Chairs lined up. Place settings perfected. Centerpieces styled. Signage positioned. Every little detail checked (and then checked again 😉).

Setting up a wedding reception isn’t just “putting things out.” It’s turning a room into the vision you’ve been dreaming about for months.

And when the doors finally open and everything is exactly where it belongs… THAT’S the best feeling. 🤍

“When I work, I don’t eat.” Beyoncé was clearly talking about wedding coordinators. 😂

You’ll find me running around a wedding for 10+ hours with one sip of water, half a granola bar and absolutely no memory of when I last ate.

But somehow I’ll remember that Aunt Karen needs a chair, the DJ needs the timeline, the photographer needs the rings, the bride needs her dress fluffed… and the cake needs to be cut at exactly 8:15.

Priorities. 😂💍
