It’s been a crazy year for us. Not because of the amount of weddings this season but just life in general. Molly’s little one is now almost 1 year old, which seems hard to believe. This August Anna and Kurt welcomed their baby boy Tristen into the world. Surprise! As you can imagine that has made everything very different, wonderfully so! We only took on 3 weddings this year for 3 amazing couples so that we could prepare for uncertainties at home. Thank you to Emma & Gerry, Lauren & Tom and Elena & Owen for allowing us to assist you on each of your special days. We were 3/3 for rain but each and everyone of them took the best of it and made it into something even more special. “A wet knot is harder to untie than a dry knot”. And for one of them a hurricane is definitely a memorable detail of the special day and they had a hell of a view of it to boot! Seriously though we want to wish them all a lifetime of happiness! 2023 is in the books and we are so looking forward to what 2024 has in store!

Been a while since we’ve done a bump update. Molly is a month away from Winnie’s due date! Here are just some of the amazing photos that Essie Photography did for her maternity shoot earlier this month. Essie did an amazing job as always! We love her work! We wrapped up our 2022 wedding season in Newry, ME assisting & John celebrate their intimate wedding day with close family and friends. They had the perfect relaxing, sunny fall day near Sunday River at where everyone stayed and got to get ready and enjoy the day altogether. The vendors we worked with were all top notch yet again! helped all the ladies with hair and makeup to look even more fabulous than they already are. captured all the amazing views and special moments and had everyone smiling the whole day! We cannot wait to see what the amazing shots and had such a blast working with this husband and wife duo! set up some gorgeous floral arrangements for the tablescape as well as the arbor. Touches of gold and orange were the perfect touches as this golden hour fall wedding day! And that was carried over to the bridal bouquet and boutonnières! lead a wonderful and touching ceremony, everyone was happy crying and we dare say we shed a tear or two as well. And the evening was enjoyed by everyone, vendors included, thanks to the amazing team from ! Amy is an artist and everyone absolutely raved about her food from cocktail hour all the way through the night! We cannot thank everyone enough for working so hard on this special day and we hope that Blake and John and their family and friends had a wonderful day to remember. We also want to wish the newlyweds a lifetime of love and happiness. Thank you again for allowing us to assist you in your special day!

A Maine wedding in a 1918 built mansion on the cliffs of Bar Harbor in Autumn with fog rolling over the coast like a blanket before dinner. What more could you ask for? How about some of the cozy details this lovely couple added for their family and friends like baskets of blankets for the outdoor ceremony, welcome coupes of champagne, adorable photos of the couple and their travels absolutely everywhere, hot and iced apple cider bar, and their adorable fur babies as their flower girls! Audra and Thomas had the perfect weather for their special day and we dare say the perfect fall wedding shared with their closest family and friends from all over the country. We ofcourse worked with the most amazing bunch vendors you could ask for yet again! Thanks to and for being such a killer photography team! Can’t wait to see all the amazing shots from this beautiful day! Thanks to of Maine Made Weddings for providing killer setups for both the ceremony and reception! The lights and sound were phenomenal! Thank you also to for doing such a stunning job on hair and makeup! Everyone looked amazing! They also had such a great time during the get ready process which is so important to set up the day for success. Thanks also to for coming out to location and making such amazing vegan options for our couple and family and friends. All the pies were a big hit! All in all it was a pretty perfect day and we want to wish Audra and Thomas a lifetime of happiness and adventures! Thank you so much for entrusting us to assist you on your special day. It truly was one to remember.

It’s that time of year when we are getting new clients for the next couple of years. We are working on our own lists of Do’s and Don’t’s but this is a pretty good start of what we don’t cover. To most of our clients this is pretty obvious but we like to post a remind from time to time. And all in all don’t assume, please ask. We have worked with some great couples! And can’t wait for our 2023/2024 couples!

We had an absolute blast assisting Kaarie and Kyle celebrate their wedding day yesterday! Unfortunately we were having so much fun that we didn’t get to take any of our usual behind the scenes photos but everyone had such a great time and we’re in good spirits despite the gusts of wind. We want to thank all the vendors for being so awesome to work with! Everyone was fantastic once again! Thanks to Geoffrey and Sue for use of your amazing venue and for carting guests, vendors and wedding party alike up and down from the ceremony spot by the lake to the barn. Thanks also to for adding such exquisite centerpieces and arrangements to the venue to make it look even more stunning than it already is. Everyone was obsessed with the arrangements hung on the arbor for the photo booth! So glad we got to keep it safe from the wind and so many people took pictures of it. It truly was a showstopper! Thanks to for an awesome set and entertaining everyone at the reception and the set up to add to the beauty of the ceremony down by the water. and were an awesome team getting all the shots of this fantastic day, as well as and his assistant capturing video of the whole day too! We can’t wait to see all the stunning shots and clips from this fun filled day! And all the guests were well fed and glasses were kept full thanks to and ! The food, cake and drinks were absolutely stellar! The guests had nothing but great things to say about all the food and drinks provided and about the whole day in general. Kaarie and Kyle were absolutely wonderful to work for and you friends and family had a blast celebrating your special day with you. We hope you had a fabulous time celebrating also and wish you nothing but happiness for years to come. Congratulations again to the new Mr & Mrs! 🍾🎊🎉❤️🎂

Fave thing one of our clients did that made our lives so much easier this year and fave tip: have a binder for your vendors with your timeline, tablescape/decor inspo, copy of contracts (and/or permits if applicable, i.e. for public space usage like park for ceremony, etc), hair and makeup looks, music (especially Do Not play list), photo list, ceremony line up and possibly run down (but not necessarily need if your officiant has a copy that’s all that really matters) AND pictures of your important people!!!!
For the first time we have had some clients give us photos and names of important family members and the wedding party! This made so many things so much easier!
The amount of times we’ve been asked to give grandma or uncle or someone something and had to apologize because we didn’t know who they were is astounding. Definitely a top recommendation!
