✨ WE HAVE A NEW NAME! ✨

Mahj Parlor is officially becoming THREAD + TILE STUDIO 🧵🀄️💕

What started with a love for mahjong, gathering around the table, and creating community has grown into something even bigger—and we are SO excited to finally bring it all together under one name.

Thread + Tile Studio will be the Pine Belt’s exclusive needlepoint + mahjong shop and creative community space, coming to Laurel at the end of 2026!

And don’t worry, Mahj Parlor isn’t going anywhere. 🀄️ All the mahjong classes, parties, open play, beautiful tiles, and fun you know and love are coming right along with us. We’re simply adding a whole new way to gather—needlepoint! 🧵

Soon, you’ll be able to shop needlepoint canvases and threads, browse mahjong tiles and accessories, take a class, stitch with friends, play a few hands, or simply come hang out with us.

Same people. Same love of gathering. A brand-new chapter. 💕

THREAD + TILE STUDIO
Stitch. Play. Gather.

📍 2118 Sandy Lane • Laurel, Mississippi
✨ Coming late 2026

We can’t wait to welcome you in. 🧵🀄️💕

Do you Mahj in the Pine Belt?? 🀄

Our Fall Bambird Scramble is now open for registration — a fun, flexible, 9-week Mahjong league where the Pine Belt’s players mix, mingle, compete a little, and connect a lot.

Season Runs Sept. 14 – Nov. 15
Registration is open now!

Here’s how it works:
• Propose & accept matches right in our custom Bambird Scramble software
• Play anytime, anywhere that works for you
• Each week, we count your top two scores
• Watch your name climb the leaderboard
• Winners take home Mahj Merch & prizes AND bragging rights!

And the best part? All levels are welcome. Whether you’re newer to the game or already hooked, the Scramble is the best way to play as much Mahjong as you want, meet new friends across the Pine Belt, and grow your game at your own pace.
