Big thank you to my mom Marty, Sarah, Brittany and Adam for their help yesterday cleaning out the weeds. I would have never got 3 rows done without mom pushing us all to keep going! After 5 hours of weeding we took a nice swim in the pond!

Mom and I are working hard to clear the weeds to the flowers can be seen. It’s not easy but it’s worth it. The dogs keep sticking their noses in the lemon basil so we keep getting the aroma of lemons!

Spring is in full bloom! Warm weather plants are thriving on the shelves, while cold-tolerant plants are flourishing on the porch. Our greenhouse is taking shape, paving the way for an even bigger and better harvest next year 😉. With a few more plants to go, we're getting creative with space. And, we've upgraded our tractor with a new tiller - a total game-changer! As we embark on our fourth year of flower farming, the future looks brighter than ever!

That’s a wrap, well it was a wrap from the beginning this year d/t fighting relentless weeds. This was my worst year this far but I did have some wins. These beautiful dahlias for example were some of the only flowers that survived after I mowed everything off out of frustration with the weeds. I didn’t really have a choice but to mow everything off, I didn’t want their seeds dropping and making it worse for next year. I will be back and we do have plans to fight those pesky weeds. I have already purchased seeds and trying something new this year with plugs (already established plants ready to go in the ground on their arrival or at least shortly after). I’m excited for next year. I have talked a little bit about collaborating with Tiffany and her cut flower garden and Dezaray at Three Roots & Blooms to bring you some fun flower filled events. This year was disappointing but I’m not going to let that stop me. This was the first year we had dahlia success so I look forward to bring those blooms to you next year with other flowers to go along with them! The Bloom Buggie is still here and we still have plans to fix her up to bring our flowers to a town near you. Thank you for your support and see you all next year!

27 dahlia tubers placed in the ground. About 20ish still in pots.

I might have went overboard with dahlias this year…. But I’m not sorry 😍(Flower Photo for example, it is not mine. )

We have done some work, but there's still more to do. We took off the side panels because of rust, wasn’t planned but better do it right now, instead of going back later.

We picked up ol’ girl this morning and she needs a name! Adam said peddles and right now I think she looks like a Debbie. What’s your name suggestions?
