Six-time Grammy Nominee and superstar artist and songwriter Jeffrey Steele has been recognized by BMI for over 65 million airplays for hits he wrote for a variety of artists including Keith Urban, Eric Church, Zac Brown Band, Jimmy Buffett, Montgomery Gentry, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cher, .38 Special, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes, Rascal Flatts and Van Zant, Joe Cocker, Little Feat, Bob Seger, Joe Bonamassa, and more.

Steele has been named to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, honored by the Country Music Hall of Fame as a Poet and Prophet, twice awarded BMI Songwriter of the Year and thrice the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) Songwriter of the Year.

Frank Bowman and Friends will be performing two hours of some of their favorite tunes from "The Great American Songbook'. A sampling of great songs that were major hits of their time starting as far back as 1918. Songs that helped folks get through both the happiest and most challenging times of the first half of the last century.
Frank Bowman is a seasoned vocalist and multi-woodwind player that has been performing this music for years in a number of Jazz, Blues, and Cabaret bands. His unique singing voice is a great vehicle for showcasing the old tunes, and his sweet clarinet sound brings the old tunes to life.
Frank will be joined by jazz Guitarist Logan Thomas, and upright bassist, Walter Ventura. Both of these great musicians are long time members of the Atlanta Swing Orchestra and have a true love of the music from this period.
The drummer for the band is Eddie Dowling, a well known multi-instrumentalist who has been performing in the Ellijay area for several years. He sincerely loves swing music, and is a great addition to the band.
The ensemble is completed by the exceptional Pianist and composer Tim Burnaman. A long time musical collaborator with Frank, Tim's Louisiana roots are reflected in his tasty piano stylings that demonstrate his fondness for the great Music the band will be performing for everyone's enjoyment.
