There's something powerful about a room full of women who choose to invest an entire day in growth.
The Howard County Chamber of Commerce's Women's Leadership Conference was exactly that, an energizing day of learning, leadership, and connection. From meaningful conversations and networking, to a spectacular lineup of speakers, vendors, and sponsors, it was a reminder of what happens when people intentionally make space to learn, connect, and grow.
A very special thank you to Colonel Yolanda Gore, whose tremendous keynote was both powerful and deeply inspiring. Her message was a strong reminder that leadership is built not only through experience, but through courage, clarity, curiosity and conviction. Thank you, Colonel Gore for your service to our country and for challenging us to rise above the status quo.
And to the always energetic and vibrant, Kashonna Marrow, thank you for emceeing the day with such warmth, presence, and momentum. You brought incredible energy to the room and kept the day moving with intention, heart, and just the right spark.
Thank you to the Chamber's president and CEO Kristi Simon, and the entire Chamber team for creating such an impactful event, to the volunteers who kept everything moving seamlessly, and to the vendors who brought so much value to the conference. It’s always a pleasure working alongside such talented professionals.
And to every attendee who showed up, took notes, made connections, asked thoughtful questions, stepped out of their comfort zone, and gave a full day to their own growth, well done! Now comes the most important part: implementation. Learning is powerful. Connection is valuable. But what changes everything? ACTION! Let's goooo. Let's rise together! 💝
