Westchester Community Center The Westchester Community Center has a main hall, meeting room, and kitchenette available to rent.

Oella Neighborhood Park renovations: starting this week, Baltimore County Rec and Parks will be renovating the basketball court next to the Westchester Community Center. This will involve removing and replacing the fencing, surface and basketball hoops. The new court will have new basketball hoops and a pickelball court. Construction will take place over the next few months in stages and at times will have substantial truck traffic in the area.

the 50th Anniversary of the Greater Oella Community Association
and
the 100th Anniversary of the construction of the Westchester Consolidated School (which now houses the Community Center).

We are at full capacity of up to 170 guests, although parking is limited to no more than 70 vehicles. Masks are now optional except for our preschool.

We are now at full capacity of 170 guests! But parking still limited to 70 vehicles. Masks no longer required but recommended for unvaccinated guests.

We are booking events at half-capacity (85 in the main hall) due to COVID-19 restrictions. A covid waiver is required for all events and masks are required to be worn at all times inside the building except when seated at tables and eating or drinking, for events of that type. We'll update this page when that changes.

Community Center rentals available

Our main hall and meeting rooms are available for rent for meetings, classes, and receptions on a short-term basis. See our web page for details of rental prices and rules. Our online calendar shows dates and times available (our preschool uses the space M-F 8:30-5:30 except holidays, so rentals not available except as listed).
