As the year-end draws near, I would like to take this time to express my sincerest gratitude for all of the people who have supported my small business adventure since its inception in 2021! It has been an incredible journey in so many ways. My business began after I retired from teaching for 31 years. I wanted to stay busy during my retirement, so I decided to explore the idea of turning a hobby into a small business. I successfully accomplished my goal of staying busy!! Inquiries have grown from family and friends to followers and people I have never met.
I have reached a crossroad in my business. Over the past year I have come to realize that I would have to expand my business, or move on to a true retirement with a calendar that allows me more freedom to be with family and friends as needed. After much thought and deliberation, I have chosen the latter.
With all of that said, I want to be sure to thank the 59 couples who have trusted me to deliver stunning flowers on their most important and special wedding day, and the many families who have ordered flowers for their special life celebrations from birthdays to bridal and baby showers and seasonal holidays! I can’t thank each and every one of you enough!
I also must absolutely thank the many family and friends who encouraged me to take this leap of faith and the many, many, many who helped me prepare and set up events giving up days and weekends to ensure my success. There are so many of you..but I must highlight my husband, John and my dear friend Jean who were by my side in some capacity for every single event.
Eternal gratitude to Lily for my website & the wedding photographers and wedding planners I have met throughout this journey. I will be forever thankful for the stunning images that have been shared with me to preserve the many beautiful memories of my floral design work. An important shout out to the hard working flower farmers and wholesalers is also in order here! I couldn’t have created gorgeous designs without the freshest, high quality flowers that they work so hard to provide!!
I bid a fond farewell to all of you! Thank you for allowing me to fulfill this amazing flower dream!! 🌺
