Well this is a nice surprise. I neglected a few winter sowed milk jugs that I never got around to planting and I somehow ended up with a volunteer dahlia seedling! One of my dahlia seeds I saved must have ended up in this jug because that is not golden rod 😂 It’s tiny but that’s a beautiful dahlia seedling 😍 I think I will keep her!

This past weekend was truly special! I was honored to be asked to make a vase arrangement for a memorial service for a client’s mother ❤️ That is so meaningful to me that I could send some love and light through my flowers on such a big day for the family.

Another order was for a 80 stem DIY bucket for a birthday party! This is a fun way for people to divide and create smaller arrangements as they wish.

12 single stems for a DIY homecoming bouquet (I forgot to take a photo!)

And a few bouquets! 😍

I really love not only putting these together for customers, but also hearing the meaning or significance of how the flowers are being used! Sometimes it’s a really big celebration and sometimes it’s simply to brighten up an ordinary day ❤️

Happy first day of fall! I had a customer pick-up a bouquet tonight and it was only fitting to give it some fall vibes! I am really loving the darker dahlias and other fall-ish bouquets I have done this season 😍 It has been so fun putting these together!

I am definitely adding more dark and moody dahlias next season! Any favorites or recommendations for dahlias that produce a lot of blooms?
