These pre-decorated rooms provide you with easy, and gorgeous, intimate event space options. At The Creative Spaces of Kim Winey Photography, we’re all about helping you create, connect, and refresh—whether you’re stepping into one of our styled sets for a photography session, attending a hands-on workshop, or gathering with fellow creatives. Most experiences require advance booking and a fee, but

some community offerings—like editing hours or casual co-working—are open to all with a suggested donation. Sign-ups are appreciated, but not required. The Creative Spaces of KWP include 3 uniquely styled rooms & a "Petite Alley". In addition to our scheduled offerings, these are available for you to rent! Our French-Country room costs $100/hour, while the two upper rooms and The Petite Alley are $75/hour. These spaces are perfect for intimate gatherings, proposals, tea parties, and more! In 2010, I was doing a session for this beauty's new baby brother, Noah, and for obvious reasons, I couldn't help but snap a few candids of Miss Emma.
I wish I had time to dig up photos from all of our sessions in between then and now. There have been many - my favorites probably being the Steamtown train station and "Before the Ball". I'll see if I can pop some links in the comments from FB albums.
Anyway - I feel like a broken record at this point, talking about all of "my kids" growing up and coming to KWP for their senior portraits. But that's what this is again - a 15 year relationship with this really incredible family and young woman. And it tugs at my heart more than a little.
Congratulations, Emma. I can't wait to see where the future takes you. ❤️
PS While it may appear that I have my stuff together when it comes to posting on social media, I assure you, that is far from the case. 😄 I think I post about 50% of my sessions. 😬 And sometimes it's like a year after the fact that I go back and catch up a little. So, if you're one of "my kids" too, and you didn't get a sappy shout out, please know it's for no other reason than life pulled me in other directions, and not because I don't care about you or your photos just as much as the ones who get posted. ❤️

Some tiny things to do in Etown?

Most of us have encountered at least one “tiny” thing around town, in the form of our Little Free Libraries. Practical and adorable, they’re a charming addition to any town.

For me, and Kim Winey Photography, the idea of going tiny came after I discovered an Instagram account called “The Tiny Art Show”. This unique concept is such a great example of a whimsical, immersive experience (my jam!) that it inspired a large part of my upcoming anniversary event - “A Tiny Look at the Big Picture”. *Saturday, September 13th, from 1-4 PM, with a preview on Sept 12, during 2nd Friday - all in The Creative Spaces of Kim Winey Photography.

Then I found out that our fellow LIV_Etown organizer and friend, Cindy, at Twisted Easel, etc. has been planning her own tiny art project as well - A Little Free Art Gallery! It’s like a little free library and a tiny art show had a baby!

The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for Cindy's creation will take place in one week (August 24th), at 1 S Market St, from, 2-5 PM. The ribbon cutting is at 3:30 PM. She’s graciously invited me to join her for the event to show some of my tiny photos, so I’ll be there for a bit, as well.
