Happy Spring FB family.
Things have been crazy and rough for LAF the last couple of years. Shutting down our space at the airport and several health issues have taken its toll.
But I’m here to say I’m still here and making a comeback. It will be me, Angela, and some good new and old faces, to bring this business back. Working on new menus, fresh ideas and making sure clients have an amazing experience.
I will not be doing larger events, instead focusing on smaller gatherings and events and also focusing on private jet service.
So thank you for those who stayed this long and supported LAF. I will not disappoint. Coming back newer, fresher, brighter and more excited than ever to reconnect with my passion of not only creating amazing food but put smiles on my clients faces.

May we take the time to honor those this day was created for. Today is a day to honor fallen soldiers and those who never made it home.
Enjoy your BBQ and kickoff of summer, but please take a moment to honor those who made it happen and will never be able to do themselves.

I love living in an area with such vibrant local foods and farmer’s markets. These are Chioggia beets from Aunt Beez Greenhouse. I got them through Jo Daviess Local Foods and they are amazing. I made a beet carpaccio over a dill cream spread (also ABG) and mixed greens (ABG) and finished with fried shallots and an orange and roasted beet vinaigrette. Pure summer heaven.
