Derek is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Hampton Roads who has been performing for over 30 years. His music is a heartfelt blend of folk and Americana that brings to mind the great singer-songwriters of yesteryear. Combined with daughter Jasper's songbird voice and perfectly placed fiddle playing, these two just bring a sound that makes ya forget about all the nonsense and just feel good about things for a little bit.

We're super stoked to start Memorial Day Weekend off with aggressive folk-rockers Mercy Creek!

Formed in 1998, Mercy Creek combines modern folk, world beat, rock, and hints of blues and bluegrass to create an earthy, edgy sound that's truly all their own. Driven by Chery's soulful, smoky vocals and Jim's driving, expressive drumming, Mercy has released 8 albums and toured all over the country.
