Most, if not all, of the drivers are on standby, the embalming is farmed out to another company, and now they have gotten into the flower business, which is also farmed out, giving them another 25% of the floral profits. As a direct consequence, the florist in conjunction with the mortician needs to inflate the price of flowers in order to stay in business. The morticians are regulated by the state but in your floral offerings, the sky is the limit. I don't see any "DIGNITY" in trying to extract every last cent from a dearly departed's insurance policy. When they have your policy in hand, they can judge how much your flower bill can be. These establishments are supposed to be morticians but instead they wear two hats at the same time. Next time, let your florist take care of your floral offerings.
