Happy Anniversary to "La Llorona."

When we started designing this room, we didn’t just want to build a scare—we wanted to capture the lore that raised us. We wanted to pay homage to our roots and bring the authentic terror and tragedy of this folktale to life in a way that only people from the Borderland could understand.

Thank you, El Paso, for trusting us with this story. Thank you for the sold-out nights, the screams, and for allowing us to bring a piece of our culture into the escape room world.

​We’re able to bring stories like this to the Borderland because we are born and bred here. Locally owned, locally inspired—something the chains just can’t claim.

We recently took the whole Operation Outbreak team to Meow Wolf in Santa Fe for a little team outing and to get some new inspiration as we begin to build some new experiences! Finished the day off by playing some incredible escape rooms over at in Albuquerque!
