we’re trying a different type of online event this time!! we’re doing a chess.com “arena”. what that means: play as many games against each other as you can within the allotted 1 hour. anytime you win you get 2 points. draw = 1 point. lose = 0. whoever has the most points at the end of the hour wins

there will be a *smol* prize for the winner this time! to be picked up at the next in-person chess night the winner attends

we’re bringing back online events on weeks when we don’t have in-person events 😈 bear with me while i re-figure out the chess.com settings to do this properly but we will get there!!

1. join this: https://chess.com/club/el-paso-chess-nerds
2. on the day of the tournament, as early as 1 hour before it starts: go into our club that you joined, find the tournament and join it

also i know a lot of yall use lichess instead. i only have chess.com going right now but i’ll look into providing lichess as an option too in the future 😤
