Great review from Alma... "There are moments in life that break you open and show you who people really are.

We met Miriam (the owner of the hall) only once when we used her hall for my birthday celebration. A simple interaction. A business transaction that turned into occasional check ins. Nothing more than that… or so we thought.

In April, our world changed. My 35 year old sister was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The months that followed were heavy, painful, and filled with uncertainty. Like many families in crisis, we decided to hold a fundraiser to support my sister during the hardest fight of her life.

Before we could even ask, Miriam stepped forward.

Without hesitation. Without conditions. Without charging us a single dollar.

She offered her party hall for our fundraiser completely free. Not only that, she also donated her hall again as a raffle prize to help us raise even more funds. A stranger, by definition, but an angel by action.

Our family can never repay that kind of kindness. In our darkest hour, she helped us feel the love that still exists in this world. She reminded us that compassion is alive and that there are still people who quietly show up when it matters most.

These are the stories we need to be telling.

The ones about people who wear capes and never announce it. The angels who never ask for recognition. The business owners who lead with heart instead of profit.
