Happy National Learn About Butterflies Day!
Did you know that butterflies eyes are made of thousands of lenses and they can see in all directions? They can also see ultraviolet light. That’s pretty cool!
Contrary to past beliefs, butterflies are not deaf, it’s been discovered that some do in fact have ears….they were just hard to locate because they’re under the butterflies forewings.
