🌿🦋 Meet Jerry, our favorite Monarch guardian!

Every summer, Jerry stops by Haven with a very special mission — collecting monarch butterfly eggs from milkweed. From May through September, he carefully gathers eggs as part of the Central Illinois Monarch Butterfly Task Force. These butterflies will begin their incredible journey, migrating from Canada through central Illinois and all the way to Mexico this fall.

We’re so grateful to be a small part of this amazing cycle of nature — and thankful for people like Jerry who help protect these beautiful creatures year after year. 💛
