My favorite UCO MT memory was very early on in my college experience. My 18th birthday happened to fall on the evening of our back to school bash and β€œBigs and Littles” reveal party, which was at the end of my very first week of college. All of the students, staff and faculty there sang happy birthday to me and we celebrated with treats. I knew I had absolutely found my β€œfamily” and β€œhome” in that moment and it is a memory I will treasure for a very long time. I also loved hosting β€œFriendsgiving” with my UCO MT friends at my apartment. The student/faculty preview performance of my final UCO show, CHICAGO, is another key memory. Hearing and feeling their support and love is something I’ll never forget.

Comparison truly is the thief of joy. In the performing arts it is so easy to compare yourself to others, but there is absolutely no one else exactly like you in the whole world. There is something so special in the fact that, in this industry, we have something so unique to offer: ourselves! No one else out there has the exact same thing to offer. Be YOU and be proud of that!

My favorite memory would be all of the time spent with my friends throughout the Tuck Everlasting rehearsal process and show week! I especially loved playing football outside at Plunkett Park with the Tuck Family and Winnies during one of our rehearsal breaks!

My time at UCO has taught me just how precious time with your people really is, and that everything truly happens for a reason (as clichΓ© as that sounds).
In this major, we hear a lot of β€œno’s,” but I’ve learned that each one serves a purpose. And that when the β€œyes’s” come, they open the doors that are meant for you in the most perfect way.
I’d like to thank all of my friends and teachers within UCOMT who made this journey so special and believed in me when I needed it most. I’m forever gratefulπŸ’›

Sitting in a circle at the beginning of our Senior year and simply debriefing about all that led up to this moment. All of the seniors consecutively grew closer in a single class of bonding time, and those moments were magical.

There’s not a single memory I can think of, but various moments throughout the years. Preview nights, singing blind karaoke with Maddie and Elliana, and senior directs were some of my favorite times.
