Stoney Creek BBQ Cookoff will be dropping into Leesburg for visit this evening. We are looking forward to sharing some potluck with the teams.

We have some exciting news, we have just received the prototype for our First place Trophies for the competition. They will be supplied by Shickel, who is one of our top sponsors.

Mark Whalen has been working hard on making these and he has come up with, what we think, is a great design. The Center piece would be a different animal based on the award, and there will be a square at the base with the contest and what the trophy is for. We’re contemplating either a base, or a neck chain for the finish, but these details are still in the concept phase. We are extremely excited to present these trophies in August, and we hope you will enjoy them.

Good Morning, we have had a few questions about the People’s Choice competition. Seem below is a brief description, a link to the registration form, and the rules for the competition. FB messenger doesn't seem to cooperating tody so hopefully it get to folks that reached out.

The Stoney Creek BBQ Cookoff will be holding a “People’s Choice” ancillary contest sponsored by First Bank. This contest will be open to any team as a stand alone contest that is not part of the KCBS judging or rules, a separate rules list will apply to the “People’s Choice” contest. Contestants will sign up on the same form as the KCBS teams https://forms.gle/5ozq51XAxTSzLb6q8



Prizes will be Trophies and $300 for first place, $200 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place. Certificated will be issued for 4th through 10th place.
