For the past 7 years we’ve helped make Hank’s dream become a reality. Each year the band rehearses at Harford Sound for weeks in preparation for this one night only performance. 88 musicians, 122 inputs, 24 channels of RF, 28 monitor mixes and one unforgettable night. Haven't heard from us in a while? Make sure we still know who you are! Harford Sound is seeking qualified Freelancers for the 2026 season:

-Audio Engineers: Familiar with the d&b Audiotechnik system workflow, Avid/Digico/Midas consoles, Shure Wireless

-Lighting Techs: Familiar with MA consoles, strong networking knowledge, designing and deploying lighting rigs in corporate and festival environments, Vectorworks

-Video: LED Wall deployment, Novastar processing, Resolume, Black Magic Switchers, PTZ & Traditional Cameras

-Staging: Stageline Certified technicians, individuals with strong decking and structural knowledge(LA towers, skaff, self climbers)

Freelancers should have:
-A minimum of 2 years experience in the industry
-The Ability to lift 60lbs unassisted
-Reliable Transportation
-Experience working long hours
-A positive, hands on, team player attitude

It was another ‘Big’ Night in DC at this year’s New Year’s Eve Extravaganza! This was our 13th year ringing in the new year at this amazing event.

This year we provided audio, lighting, video and labor for 5 different event spaces. The main room featured nearly 100 lighting fixtures including their brand new Strike V strobes. Audio was effortlessly handled by our KSL / B22 system.

Let’s do it again next year!
