This August 20th commencing @ 5pm @ the Annapolis Maritime Museum will be the 1st screening of the documentary film/movie entitled “Death on the Chesapeake: A Hard Rain”. The movie covers the story of John Flood who grew up on Larrimore Point in the 1950’s & 1960’s which is the same grounds as the Historic London Town Publick House and Gardens Park. John’s family later moved to Harness Creek. Beginning in 2012, John while operating his enviornmental consulting & constructing company, came back to Larrimore Point and spent 7 years restoring the grounds & shoreline. For the 1st showing movie tickets (limited number) go to eventbrite.com/my tickets. Pay $15/person on line. Many long time TPI residents know John. He founded the South River Association which is now Arundel Rivers Federation. U may have helped him grow and or place thousands of tons of oyster spat on shell into South River/Selby Bay waters in an effort to reduce pollution, or U may have worked with him planting grasses along our shoreline or noticed the terrific improvement in our beaches through John’s engineering & rock placement. SRHS KEY CLUB enjoying a year end Senior Send Off party AND the International Key Club's 100th Anniversary! It's been a fine, fun year.
We, The Kiwanis Club of Commodore Mayo, love supporting your leadership development & the many service initiatives undertaken & your support of our community events ! Have a great summer & best of luck to all the SRHS Seniors!!

Look forward to more SRHS students joining in next year!! It's fun meeting & working with other students & rewarding to support/serve others.

Suzanne P. is the newest member of our Kiwanis Club of Commodore Mayo. She has strong connections to the peninsula & county, volunteers across multiple organizations and is a welcome addition to our growing community service organization.
