Pouring my heart out today π
Weβve officially hit 9 years of marriage, and I can honestly say β itβs been a journey filled with growth, love, and lessons.
A lot of my brides ask me for advice or want to know more about our story, so hereβs me keeping it realβ¦ our first year was tough. We skipped some of the deeper counseling and didnβt yet understand each other beyond our friendship β all while navigating parenthood early in our relationship. That was no easy road.
But when I look back now, I truly appreciate those challenges. They shaped us. They taught us how to fight for each other, not against each other. They showed us how to communicate β really communicate β and how to meet in the middle even when it wasnβt easy.
Marriage is all about give and take. Through my flaws, heβs been my encourager. When Iβm up, heβs right there cheering me on even louder. To have a man who loves as deeply, as passionately, and as consistently as he does β thatβs something Iβll never take for granted.
Heβs made me better, stronger, and more grounded in love.
