Dear Valued Guests,
We would like to provide an update on our property, especially for our 2026 and 2027 wedding couples. Last year marked our first season under new ownership. While many weddings went smoothly, some did not meet the standards we aim to uphold.
During the busiest season of the venue's 13 years hosting weddings, the new management encountered challenges learning and adapting amidst an incredibly heavy workload. The result meant there was a greater focus on quantity rather than quality, leading to dissatisfied customers and negative reviews. In light of these concerns, we want to inform you about changes for the upcoming wedding season.
First, changes have been made to the management team. It is abundantly clear that we failed to effectively delegate and execute tasks to ensure that all our couples were well taken care of every step of the way.
We have also decided that the 50+ weddings that were booked prior to the change in ownership is too high a number to deliver the standard of quality we want for all our couples. While we would love to host as many weddings as the calendar will allow, we strongly believe it should never come at the cost of every couple getting the perfect wedding day they deserve.
We hope that these changes, which include some fresh faces who believe in quality over quantity, will ensure that we are able to provide more consistent communication during the planning process and a wedding day celebration that couples and their guests will remember fondly for many years to come.
In service of our goal to meet the standard that couples have come to know with unwavering consistency under previous ownership, we are pleased to announce that Billie and Ryan Kratky, the original owners of Over the Vines, will return to help our new management team restore the exceptional service our guests deserve.
Our annual Open House will be held in May, providing an opportunity to tour the grounds, meet our new team, and enjoy complimentary cocktails, food, and tours. You’ll also have the chance to speak directly with your event coordinator and get answers to any questions. It’s an ideal time for future guests to see the property set up for a wedding.
Finally, we want to reaffirm our commitment to a wonderful 2026 and beyond. We are opening our property for weddings year-round and already planning for the next season, including some exciting new installation projects set for spring. Our mission is to ensure you receive outstanding support and attention. We look forward to building a strong relationship with you and earning your confidence and trust.
