A little Sunday Devotion 🤍

One of the hardest things to do is stay quiet when we know people are talking about us.

When our names are being spoken in rooms we’re not in, when things are being said that we know aren’t true, and when we worry those words could hurt something we’ve worked so hard to build — it’s exhausting.

Our first instinct is to defend ourselves, correct every story, and make sure everyone knows the truth.

But we’re learning that sometimes peace comes from realizing we don’t have to chase down every conversation that happens without us.

“Without wood a fire goes out.” — Proverbs 26:20

Not every rumor needs our response. Not every accusation deserves our attention. And not every person who hears something about us needs an explanation from us.

We can’t control what someone else chooses to say. We can control how we respond, how we conduct ourselves, how we treat people, and how we continue moving forward.

God knows the truth. He knows our hearts. He sees the things other people don’t see, and we have to trust that a life lived with integrity will speak louder over time than the words spoken against us.

So if you’re carrying something similar today, protect your peace. Keep doing what’s right. Keep showing up. Keep praying. And let God handle the conversations you were never meant to be a part of.

People can talk about our character, but they don’t get to define it. 🤍

A little Saturday encouragement. ❤️

One thing I’m learning in life and in business is that not everything deserves a reaction. Sometimes the best thing we can do is keep our hearts right, keep doing what we know is right, and leave the rest in God’s hands.

There will always be things we can’t control, but we can control how we respond. So today, I’m choosing peace over frustration, prayer over worry, and faith over fear.

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14

Keep doing right, keep moving forward, and trust God with the things you can’t control. ❤️
