Today Tomato Bruschetta: This is so wonderful for a quick appetizer thats great if you need something quick.
Ingredients

•10 roma tomatoes, roughly chopped
•10 basil leaves, julienned
•1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary

•1/2 onion, minced
•4 garlic cloves, minced
•2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
•Salt and freshly ground pepper
•10 baguette slices, toasted or grilled

Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, basil, rosemary, onion, garlic, and oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

2. Toast slices of baguette and top with a teaspoon of tomato mixture.

Recipe 101: Spiced Cranberry Apple Chutney
Ingredients
2 cups fresh cranberries
2 cups white sugar
3 tablespoons water, or more as needed
1 large Granny Smith apple - peeled, cored and chopped

2 stalks celery, finely chopped
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup pecans (optional)
1 cup golden raisins
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 pinch salt, or to taste
Directions
1.Place the cranberries, sugar, and water in a large saucepan, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and cook until all the cranberries have popped, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in the apple, celery, orange zest, orange juice, pecans, raisins, ginger, cloves, and salt, and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the celery is tender and the sauce is reduced, about 35 minutes. Turn off the heat, cover the saucepan, and let the chutney stand to thicken, about 15 minutes. Serve warm.

Bijou Bistro Opens Tuesday November 20th-
I am very excited to tell all of you the Bijou Bistro will be opening this coming Tuesday! We are going to be open Tuesday – Friday, serving lunch from 11 am to 2:30. Please come see us. Looking forward to seeing you.

My Gosh! What a busy day! I have been unpacking and washing dishes all day. I am very happy and excited to tell you. Next week we will be opening the Bijou Bistro. We will be doing seasonal menu's. Showcasing many wonderful dishes. I will keep you posted to what day we are going to open.
