Ah-let-tee
All thru childhood my enjoyment of The Chronicles of Narnia series never ceased. Aunt Letty is a character in The Magicians’s Nephew who proved to be a loving caretaker and hardy lady, hopefully, I can be somebodies “Aunt Letty”, ready to work hard, get grubby hands and have some fun while making all sorts of flower creations!
The word Allette was inspired by the Old French alette, elette the decorative columns or pilasterlike abutment of an arch that is seen on either side of the column. The French language is beautiful, I thought it complemented blossoms, blooms and design.
Combination of the two words (alette & Aunt Letty) created my name.
I’ve been passionate about flower designs for quite sometime and had the privileged of working with very dear friends on their special day. It was time to make a hobby something more! I look forward to seeing more dreams of petals and buds come to life in a bride’s walk down the aisle. - Anna S.
