The heart and story behind Sips of Joy! 🌼🪩☕️
Sips of Joy has been on my heart since January 2022 when I was at YWAM. I’ve been a barista since 2015, and coffee has always been something I genuinely enjoy - not just the drinks, but the connection and little moments of joy it brings to people every day.
While I was at YWAM, everything really started to come together. In my first month there, I felt like the Lord placed this vision on my heart, and it just kept growing from there. I was also connected with a couple coffee cart owners during that time who were so kind in answering my questions and sharing their experience, which helped me start building what this could actually look like.
Over those six months, I spent a lot of time dreaming, planning, building out packages, and figuring out the overall vibe I wanted. It actually started as “Milk & Honey,” but by the time I was ready to move forward, there were so many businesses with that name. After a lot of prayer, Sips of Joy came to life.
My heart behind Sips of Joy is to bring color, creativity, and fun back into spaces. I don’t want things to feel boring or overly simple - I want every setup to feel intentional, joyful, and something people remember.
As a stay-at-home mom, this business means so much more to me. It gives me the chance to do something I love while also helping support my family and creating a life that has flexibility and purpose. Getting this close to launching has been such a blessing, and I’m just really thankful for the whole journey.
Right now we’re in the final steps - just waiting on our commissary kitchen so I can submit everything to the health department and pass inspection. Once that’s done, we’re officially up and running!
I’m so excited for what’s ahead and to be part of your special events - bringing not just drinks, but something fun, colorful, and full of joy! 🩷
