After 9 unforgettable years, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Stumpy’s Hatchet House of Eatontown.
From the very first throw to the last bullseye, this journey has been more than just axes and targets — it’s been about the people. We’ve celebrated birthdays and anniversaries, witnessed engagements, team wins, first dates, family reunions and unforgettable nights out. We've watched strangers become friends and shared laughter that echoed off these walls. We've seen our loyal league members evolve into new parents, experience difficult times in their lives, and use Stumpy's as their place for connection. The energy, love, and support from this amazing community have meant the world to us.
To everyone who walked through our doors, we thank you. Thank you for your cheers, your enthusiastic bell ringing, your stories, and your trust in us to create a safe, exciting place to unwind, forget about your problems, and have fun. You made Stumpy’s more than a business — you made it a home.
When we were asked about the "secret sauce" to our brand, we always responded that it really was about having the right people on our team. We have been beyond blessed over the years to have a topnotch staff who cared far beyond the paychecks they earned. Their attention to the customer "axe-perience", their dedication and commitment, and their love for axe throwing is second to none, and for that we are so very grateful. To our current staff and all of the past team members that helped grow this business, we hope you carry on with the good work ethic and outstanding hospitality that you exemplified each day at Stumpy's.
Though this chapter is coming to a close, the memories we’ve made here will always stick with us like a well thrown hatchet. We’re incredibly proud of what we have built together and forever grateful to our dedicated staff, supportive partners, and each of you who helped make it all possible.
Please stop by and say goodbye before we officially close on Saturday, May 17, 2025 — we’d love to see your faces one more time.
With sincere gratitude and love,
Stumpy’s Hatchet House
