Sunday am update..
We are OPEN with extremely limited staff.. so extra patience if you have to wait.
I have had several people message me and tell me that it was stupid to open and some pretty harsh messages were sent.. there are reasons why we do everything we can to be open ..
my husband is a farmer and has to be out in this weather, no matter what is happening - he has to get up.. show up and do his job.. I feel like I should do the same.. none of my staff are required to come to work.. none of them receive anything but understanding if they do not feel comfortable getting out in this weather.. it is strictly volunteer only.. I do not expect for anyone to put themselves at risk to be here.. but this is my job.. and I feel obligated to get up.. show up and do what people depend on me to do...and I like that there is a place where farmers and first responders and road crews can get out of their trucks for at least a few minutes. Get something warm to eat or a hot cup of coffee, Fuel if they need it .. liquor if they need it lol whatever it takes to get through this.. this is a community of people that take care of each other and these guys and gals are out there taking care of us.. because that is their job.. the least I can do is show up to mine❤️
