Selections for Friday, December 19
Race 1
5-Baby Doll Jen – Her lone tally in 36 starts this season came when she tripped out back on November 21, so a similar trip could yield something positive from a mid pack launch
3-Knives Out – Two for 37 this season, transitioned from Monticello to finishing a distant third from post seven, then had no chance from post ten, so she figures to be put in play with a better draw
7-Cutting Humor – Took advantage of the rail, left alertly, got locked in late & faded to fifth last week, with an 0 for 26 record this year she tackles a more challenging post
Race 2
6-Rock The Captain N – This Captain catapulted off a hot pace to trounce these first time Lasix, then got a severe parking ticket from post ten & has a big chance to rebound for Joe Lee
4-Marshall Zhokov – Hoosier Park claim back in mid-November has finished on edges fourth in both starts here, now fully acclimated he draws better, while sporting a bit of back class
5-Graceful Gala – 4YO mare just two for 37 this season, overmatched against $20,000 claimers @ Yonkers in her last two, yet she was on a nice roll here before that
Race 3
1-Bulvillkidunotedna – 3YO has been knocking on the door recently, she moves inside off a tough trip from post seven & we all remember what stablemate Bulvilhighonmaggie did last Thursday
2-Mo Mo – Just two for 38 this season, has landed on the fringes in both starts here, yet lands post two again while fully acclimated & has a chance to trip out in a camera-shy field
7-Always Be An Angel – Beaten favorite gave it an aggressive try in her Big M debut for a new barn & tackles post seven again with a one for 42 record
Race 4
5-Princess America – 3YO filly has caught fire for Bruce Lauer, merits the class hike fresh off a wire-to-wire 1:54.4 & finished a close second to Sunburnt before that
4-Staycation – 3YO filly only two for 30, but just missed by a head with a two-move effort before the sick scratch & draws much better, while making her second start after missing a month
6-Sunburnt – Only two for 39 this season, yet she has thrived since switching to the mile track here, comes off a no-chance trip from post ten
Race 5
4-Samsun Of A Beach – $4,000 claim @ Vernon Downs got parked in his Big M debut, then rallied stoutly from tenth/last to hit the board last week & now draws better for The Judge
6-Artist Best – Only two for 33 in 2025, yet repeatedly trip compromised recently & this 1:51 winner @ The Big M this season has a chance to launch his one big move with the right set up
9-Seize Control – Has paid the price for slow starts, particularly in his last two, flashed some decent late pace last week & now he’s a fresh claim consideration despite post nine
Race 6
3-Twin B Sunkissed – Team Burke trainee with a mark of 1:50.2 stormed home from post ten to grab the deuce at long odds two weeks ago, moves inside & might be on the verge
6-Take Your Pick – 11-time winner this season with a mark of 1:50.2 here, ships back to The Big M after almost going all the way @ Harrah’s Philadelphia & on a long form spree
4-Tennis Queen – Deserves the step up in class on a nice roll recently, rallied with a wide trip & just missed to Remy Brown last week & sets up her big late kick from post four again
Race 7
7-Le Bec Fin – One for 30 in 2025 & three for 64 lifetime, but this mare added Lasix & towered up from tenth/last to hit the board & makes her third start off a sick scratch
4-Parklane Terror – Draws much better fresh off a big wake up rally from post ten & this Big M lover lands in a prime spot to set up a stalk n pop trip in a soft MADC division
6-Hunt For Cash – One for 32 this season, however this gelding has been sharpening his sword with back-to-back on-the-board finishes & owns a mark of 1:50.4 here taken last year
Race 8
5-Outside The Fire – Looking to rebound off a late miscue @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, strong runner up against better here before that & holds a class edge for his key third start off the bench
2-Super Duper Cooper – Cooper is capping another productive campaign for Team Pollack & draws inside after hitting the board in both tries @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, while flaunting versatility
3-Sainthood – Rallied from a tough spot for the upset here two starts back, parlayed that into a dominant repeat @ Harrah’s Philadelphia & draws inside with strong number in the win column
Race 9
4-National Love AS – Sharp Saratoga shipper arrives on a form spree & fresh off a narrow loss despite being pace/trip compromised & draws well in a wide-open affair
9-Crazy Supersport – Ramping up his form in three starts on the comeback form here, slammed with post nine, but just needs the right pace/trip set up
7-Roger Rabbit – Shipped here, tried speed & just missed with an energetic effort last week, now his post is tougher, but this classy gelding has something positive to build on
Race 10
5-Dream Pillar – One for 18 this season, but she has made a couple of sharp late moves for the deuce in her last two & launches mid pack for her third try after a long layoff
2-Giovona By The Sea – Has been a new horse since her big comeback upset, equaled that mark of 1:54.4 with another sterling rally two starts back & gets class/post relief
4-Almost Karen – Added Braxten Boyd, took full advantage of a drop to the bottom TM 68 level & suddenly went all the way as the heavy favorite last week & draws well to be a repeat threat
Race 11
4-Dryden Hanover – Steady 4YO finished a distant second to a runaway favorite Tom Swifty in a solid Big M acclimating mile & draws a bit better with strong numbers on view
7-Interview Fra A – A Noel Daley-tuned horse for the course returns from a five-month layoff with a demanding post, but his two Big M qualifiers were more than adequate
6-Spending Crazy – Lightly-raced 5YO more than lived up to the heavy tote support with an easy romp in his Big M debut fresh off the bench & has license to show more
Race 12
4-Bar Keep De Vie – Two for 32 in 2025, shipped from Plainridge, grinded gamely & just missed to a well-rated favorite in a sharp Big M debut, so that logically makes him a serious player here
1-Perron – One for 28 this season & two for his last 64, but has been competitive in his last three, while acclimating here & the rail gives him a chance to employ his effective stalking style
7-Masster Blue – Finished a solid third behind Bar Keep De Vie with a smooth ride from the rail last week, now the task is tougher, while we’re looking at a two for 33 this season
Race 13
3-Going Away – 1:51.3 performer @ The Big M this season paid the price for a really slow start from post eight last week & moves inside with a keen stretch kick in her arsenal
6-Blood Moon A – Capitalized on the drop, tried speed from post ten & came up just a buck shy, now 10-time winner this season draws better & gets another shot at this reduced level
5-Tricky Wicky – 3YO filly added Braxten Boyd & perked up with a new mark of 1:52 two weeks ago, sets up her stalking game from mid pack & appears to measure up to these
Race 14
1-Sacagawea – Forced wide & faltered two weeks ago, distant runner up to a big favorite before that, tripped out to beat these back on November 6 & lands the rail to rebound
3-Rosey Time – Almost blew up the toteboard in an eye-catching Big M debut, then had zero chance from post nine again & now she’s getting class & post relief with 11 wins this season
2-Brighten Your Life – Has been hinting of an overdue win recently, just missed three starts back, shuffled third last Thursday & draws inside again to present a stalking threat
