Grace Choir Grace Choir is a multi-denominational Christian choir, with members from a variety of churches in the Rochester, NY area.

Grace Choir is an interdenominational, community-based Christian choir that sings in a variety of traditional, contemporary, and gospel styles. The choir presents Christian concerts, brings in guest Christian artists, and raises money for worthy missions and charities. We seek to demonstrate the unity of the body of Christ through shared ministry.

A message from Lon:

I just returned from my summer on Cape Cod. I had a wonderful time volunteering at Camp Good News, but it is nice to be home. I’ll tell you all about my summer when I see you. And I look forward to hearing about yours!

We have such exciting plans for the Fall! We are planning to present a benefit concert on Sunday, December 14 at 3 PM at Pearce Memorial Church in N. Chili. “The Messiah Has Come!” will include choruses from Handel’s Messiah as well as favorite Christmas carols. We are thrilled that we will have a chamber orchestra accompanying the choir and carols. Members of the Pearce Church Choir may also be joining us for this concert! We will take an offering to benefit Home of Joy, a wonderful Christian orphanage and school in Bangladesh.

I sent out letters to 125 churches inviting singers to join us. I also included two fliers inviting singers as well as string and double reed (oboe & bassoon) players who might like to join us. If you know of singers or advanced instrumentalists who might wish to join us, please invite them or let me know.

Our rehearsal schedule remains the same this year: singers may choose to rehearse from 7-9 PM on Mondays (beginning 9/8/25) at Asbury First United Methodist Church or Tuesdays (beginning 9/9/25) at the East Bloomfield United Methodist Church. (We may also have a Wednesday option available in N. Chili if that works better for anyone. Folks may email me for more information about that). We will have a dress rehearsal, on Wednesday, 12/10/25, from 7-9 PM at Pearce Memorial Church.

I hope you will be able to join us for this special concert! I believe it will be something special!
