Giacosa, the birthplace of the Negroni … in Florence Italy 🇮🇹
Never was a big fan of this cocktail until we went to the source 🥃 for a nightcap and dessert !

What a wonderful way to finish off our first night in Florence after a wonderful dinner at Osteria Pastella for the Wild Pork Antipasti, Tagliatelle Flambé in a cheese wheel table side with Black Truffles, and Wild Rabbit Ravioli. All house made pastas and EVERYTHING DELICIOUS 🤤 !!

We did not have a reservation but heard if you got in line early you could possibly get in and we got in line early :))) 1st in fact… so lucky us. 🍽️

So pizza may have been born in Napoli but my local culinary fave so far is the paccheri alla Genovese

Even though it shares its name with the northern Italian city of Genoa (where the dish is, in fact, relatively unknown), the Genovese was born in Naples. Some say that chefs from Genoa working at the port of Naples in the 16th century were the first to make it. Another theory holds that a chef from Geneva, Switzerland, who arrived in Naples in the 18th century, was the inventor of the Neapolitan sauce, taking French onion soup as his inspiration.

I will be recreating this back in the kitchen for sure !!

Definately go check out The Nashville Social Club in Carson City ! Super cool venue and restaurant with some good ole southern cooking and great entertainment!

Oh and The Nevada Capitol Plaza had some awesome lights !!!
Really put me and Kenny in the Holiday Spirit!

Been totally inspired by meal prepping ideas that are both healthy and low carb … Protein and vegetables with lots of FLAVOR are your friend.

Maybe some grab and go meals for the spring ???
