How is it already April? In February, I headed to Minneapolis for a site visit to plan an upcoming conference. Lucky for me, .swing.pro and their crew decided to throw their amazing bash the same week. Timing couldn’t have been better!

Minneapolis, you are charming, in 14F or 90F weather. (Here are a few snaps from our many visits over the years!) Pleased to be back for a hot second, and see you again in October.

Emee is very hands-on when it comes to ensuring that events run smoothly. She's present at most events, checking everything from the podium notes ("lectern notes" if you're older than 40 😄) to the coffee levels.
As a corporate event planner, EJP Events understands the unique needs of busy executives. That's why we provide hands-on, professional event planning services - from venue selection to day-of ex*****on.

Via AssociationsNow: "Too often, 'introvert' is defined as insecure or shy, when it’s really just a different, less showy way of going about one’s business. That makes them enormously valuable contributors to your organization—and deserving of recognition for it."

Extroverts get a lot of the attention in organizations—and, often, an unfair share of the credit. Strong leadership means better recognizing how introverts also do their jobs.

EJP Events has some exciting news - we are now managing Landing Gardens venue rentals. This gorgeous private garden on the east side of the Willamette River just 25 minutes from downtown Portland (Oregon for those reading this in another country), has river views, a gazebo, and capacity for up to 100, all outdoors.
Working in Portland events for over 20 years, we know what venues can cost, so we've worked closely with the owners (Oak Grove Garden Club , a wonderful nonprofit) to help them create a sales program that will allow the gardens to have the level of maintenance this historic site deserves, while still being an affordable, flexible, and competitively-priced option.
Check it out and tell your colleagues who are looking for an outdoor venue! https://www.facebook.com/risleylandinggardens/

♥️We were absolutely spoiled on by the crew! The team and a host of other event planners and designers were invited to Hotel Eastlund’s Cosmopolitan Ballroom to enjoy (swipe to see all):
-a seated lunch,
-sips of champagne
-a lovely table setting
-individual cakes from
-a tour of the rooftop event areas at
-a postcard station by so we could write to our favorite Galentine (This was my favorite part!)
-Massages! From at Awakenings Wellness and Maren Uecker at .wellness
-A headshot station by - she took the first photo in the carousel showing our team. Tieara, me, and Lucy.
♥️
We even got to shop talk a bit with planners from as well as the event's designer herself, Ashley from . Thank you to everyone who worked hard on this event (comment if I forgot to tag you!) so we could have a day out before the mad season begins.
