This summer is shaping up to be a HOT one! As temperatures and heat indexes climb, please keep in mind that the event professionals working behind the scenes are often spending 10–12+ hours outdoors. That includes bartenders, servers, photographers, DJs, planners, coordinators, catering staff, and many others.

If things seem to be moving a little slower than usual, please be patient. Everyone is doing their best while working through some challenging conditions.

A little kindness and understanding can go a long way. The goal is the same for everyone—to create an amazing experience while making sure guests and staff stay safe and healthy.

While you can request LMFAO’s “Shots” from the DJ… you can’t request shots from your bartenders! 🍸🚫

Most venues have a strict no-shot policy. No Shots, No straight alcohol, No on the Rocks. So when your bartender says no, please don’t take it personally—they’re simply following venue rules.

Why the rule? Liability and safety. With an open bar, guests often already have 5–6 drinks, and throwing high ABV drinks into the mix can quickly take things from fun to unsafe. No one wants a celebration to end with injuries, illness, or bigger issues.

We want you to have an amazing time—just safely. Cheers to celebrating responsibly! 🥂
