The City of East Lynne, Missouri was established on February 8, 1881. The City has a population of 303 amazing citizens. The City boast of a School, Post Office, City Hall and 9 Local Businesses. The City was named after a novel written by Mrs. Henry Wood Titled East Lynne which was published in 1861.

Community Event Update:

Do to lack of interest the City will be canceling the Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 29, 2014 starting at 8:00am. However the Mayors Lighting Ceremony will still be moving forward. The event will be moved indoors to the City Hall located at 402 Main Street in East Lynne starting at 6:30pm. Sorry for any inconvenience and we look forward to seeing you later in the evening.

Community Event:
On October 11, 2014 starting at 2:00pm the East Lynne Assemble of God will be hosting a free, fun filled event for the whole family. There will be a not so ordinary bouncy house for the kids, a 2-on-2 basketball tournament for those with and without game, free hot dogs, and prizes. The event will take place at the East Lynne Assembly of God, located on 305 Monroe St.

Brief job description: This position's primary responsibility will be cleaning City Hall as well as various projects for City and other Park & Rec events.
