Hello and HELLLLLLLOH!
I haven’t been very active on here.
A few weeks ago I mentioned a few fun surprises.
One was the announcement of our new monthly “Shake Rattle N’ Rum” in Little Tokyo, starting the 2nd Sat of eaveh month in 2023.

The 2nd announcement is: I’m opening a new micro size art gallery and boutique with a small pop up Café opening in Jan 2023 with a soft opening in December called micro LA.

Micro LA will showcase monthly group art gatherings featuring local artists. The boutique will host local vintage vendors and crafters.

Micro LA is a community based pop up supporting local artists, vendors and community.

We are looking for local designers, vendors, crafters makers and shakers for our space.

The Crafty Pedal closed its retail doors and took a break during the pandemic…. Making time to help LA folks keep their bikes rolling. Now, post pandemic we are back with a new brick and mortar retail location in Lincoln Heights called . microLA is a new local community pop up featuring local artists in a micro size art space along with hosting local Vintage and Craft DIY vendors. We will be hosting a community based sidewalk Café called Sabor A Mi with free coffee Monday through Friday from 8AM to 10AM with your own mug. We will be hosting local food vendors from our BIci Bistro and hosting monthly group art showcases.  C U SOON!

HELLO EVERYONE,

It's been a while since we've been in touch. We took a much needed break and are back! As some of you know, we closed our DTLA shop and gallery and have set up a new pop up a few minutes north east of DTLA in Hill Side Village!

We are kicking off 2021 with our first quarterly Care Package Project!

Times are tough for many. Tomorrow as part of my personal "Care Package" project I’m filling up “Henry the Rambler” with food, clothing, toys, some personal hygiene items and donating them to the "Sharing The Love Event" here in NELA. If you have anything you want to contribute anything I will be home today to accept any donations.
DM me for more info or coordinate donations drop offs. I can possibly pick up locally.

Our shelves are finally empty. Last week I sold the last of my inventory and collection to our friends at Felipe's Bike Shop . After 5 wonderful years we have decided to close out hang our wrench apron and get back on the saddle again. Its been fun, Its been challenging and its been very memorable. We met new friends and connected with old friends. Interesting enough, The Crafty Pedal started out as a hobby. A place to meet up, hang out, wrench and exchange adventures with cycling friends. Now we look forward to the next chapter . . . . Life is like a bicycle, to keep on moving you just keep on pedaling. and that is exactly what we aim to do.

Hello fellow cyclerinos,
Last year The Crafty Pedal took a long, much needed hiatus from our store front to catch up on personal health and other crafty projects.

Having never officially closed our doors we continued to help local cyclists repair and maintain their bikes. Most recently we have received an abundance of assistance requests that in light of the Corona problems we are currently facing, has inspired us to re open our shop doors once again.

We will continue to offer Free wrench days and super affordable consignment bikes and parts (Buy, Sell, Trade).
