Hi everyone!

I’ve updated the way I schedule appointments to better manage my time during the busy season.

From now on, all fittings and drop-offs are **by appointment only**.
📅 You can book a time using the link below.

👰 Bridal gowns and bridal party alterations: Sunday–Tuesday (1-hour fittings)
👕 Everyday alterations & repairs (including simple prom dress hems): Friday–Saturday (quick drop-off or fitting)

✨Prom dresses:
If your dress needs more involved alterations (taking in, letting out, or reshaping), please book a bridal consultation (1 hour) on Sunday–Tuesday.
If you only need a hem or a small adjustment (like straps), please book a Friday–Saturday appointment under everyday alterations.

⏳ Summer is my busiest season with bridal work, so turnaround time for everyday items is usually 2+ weeks.

Greetings everyone! New shop hours from now through the Summer will be Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00pm. This is the time when you can bring your project to the shop. You don't need to make an appointment (unless for wedding or eveningwear Sunday-Tuesday). If you have any questions about your project, please call during working hours.

ATTENTION: CORRECTION !!!
Due to high volume of weddings still happening, we are 4-5 weeks BEHIND on all orders for alterations and will not be accepting any NEW work or calls for Appts until December 1st or later

Greetings to Everyone,
If you are following our posts, you will see that we are behind schedule for the next six weeks

As of this posting, we are not accepting any NEW work that needs to be finished on a deadline. We can NOT guarantee any date for September returns

If you are having a wedding in October or later, we can POSSIBLY see you at the end of September on a first call, first served appointment only.

Our next appt date is Now October 21st with a return date of 2-3 weeks later

Hope this clears up alot of confusion for those looking for a quick turnaround

If you want us to handle your wedding alterations for 2025, please call NOW ASAP and even if you don't have your dress, we can keep in touch with you. After July 25th, we cannot guarantee August or September weddings will have enough time to finish
Many of our customers are reporting ordering dresses from Bangor or Online and still not hearing back on an arrival date/ We cannot help you with this, please call your retail supplier ASAP, then call us to see if you have time. WE WILL WORK WITH YOU, IF TIME ALLOWS!
Please note that we need THREE WEEKS to alter your dress, see you for fittings and be ready for your weddings
If you have a special situation, you are welcome to call and discuss availability, but once dates are full, it is out of our hands and we would suggest Portland with a 3-4 week turn around also, MAYBE!
We hope that we can help everyone, but with ONLY 2 hands working straight out, it's now come to the point of first come, first serve basis as we did last year

August Schedule

Anyone needing an August date for Alterations, please expect 4 weeks for return delivery
We are now working on August 6th area for area appts with a return date of 3-4 weeks. Some returns MAY NOT be available until AFTER Labor Day weekend

Svetlana is NOW accepting WEDDING GOWN appointments for July 20th and later, with a RETURN date of August 15th. This does NOT apply to difficult alterations, resizing, lace, sequins, etc. Multiple bridesmaids and wedding participants need to notify us in advance for dates

Wedding Gown Appts and Related Bridesmaids Dresses,, etc

As of today, All June appts are booked and we cannot take in ANY SIMPLE alterations or wedding dresses until AFTER July 4th weekend, 2024

If you are looking to us to have your order ready for a AUGUST 15th or later ....2024 Wedding, we have to hear from you by May 30th. No guarantees, but if you do NOT contact us with a 4-6 week turnaround, we cannot attempt to have your dress ready in time for August weddings

This is a crazy year for weddings and please remember that we CANNOT be responsible if your dress does not arrive to you in time.( if you ordered online)
