So how DO I keep my eyes open underwater as a mermaid? I am a professional mermaid and I don't wear goggles! In order to navigate the world around me, I do open my eyes underwater (and also use my hands). So is there a trick to it or something? I'll tell you the secret in this video!

TW: Mentions Eating Disorder Recovery ⚠️ How did I become a professional mermaid? It wasn't actually a goal I had in life originally. I suppose you could say that it kind of just came into my life and I couldn't say no? It's a bit of a long story and not the happiest story, but it is my story.

Want to guess what inspired the name of this mermaid? Moonflower is one of my newer mermaid characters. She's a Lake Leelanau princess with a very sparkly tail, a love for gold, and a distaste for algae.

Mermaid Shadow is one of my favorite mermaid characters to play. She has a bit of a symbolic meaning to me AND HER BELLS MAKE ME SO HAPPY. Ugh. It'll be a fun weekend!

A dragon-taming mermaid needs to have a good name, wouldn't you agree? Here is Bramble, my shape-shifting elf character. She lives in the forest of Northern Michigan where she watches over the plants and animals of the land... and water!

Can you guess what the inspiration for her name was?
