Do you recognize this mermaid tail? 🐬🌕✨️ It is my silicone mermaid tail that I designed for my Moonflower character and that brought to life for me. It is quite the old tail but it is a STUNNER. And so, it was used for a very magical music video. If you haven't seen the video yet, please go check it out on It. Is. Stellar! Or, should I say, lunar? Hahaha! 🧜🏻‍♀️

Anyway, these are clips of me swimming in the tail in Lake Michigan dressed as my Moonflower character. This year, I cut the fluke into a different shape, which I think looks very nice, don't you? The leeches sure did like it 🫠

A mermaid goes galumphing... or at least attempts to! There are days that I really overestimate my abilities. Today was one of those days lol. But I gave it my best shot! This was from the video where my dogs pick out my costume (on YouTube... it doesn't have many views, but I think it's fun!)

But I was also in the water today. Don't recommend. It was tingly. But I had one more video to film before I could admit to summer being over officially 😅

Just a mermaid. Soaking up the gentle rays of autumn sunlight. 🍂 Here's another video of my Moonflower character. A longer swimming video of her has been included in my most recent YouTube vlog, if you'd like to see more from this chilly September swim.

The water in Lake Michigan is not pleasant, but I have ONE more tail I need to film in there before I'm willing to retreat to a pool. Gotta kick this cold's butt first though. My last event got me sick. Yay. 🫠

The mermaid treasures we find in Lake Michigan and the other places we swim aren't always shiny sparkly cool gems and gold... in fact, we've never found gems or gold! But we HAVE found some other oddities (and trash). So here are some of the things we have found on our mermaid dives!

One thing I forgot to include is a necklace, which I often wear in videos. It's one of those cheap crystal point ones, but it's special to me. 😌🖤

This was filmed a while ago with the help of my boyfriend and older sister. I think it was on the third try that I finally managed to throw the thing over the breakwall. I need to work in my aim 😂

And yes, my boyfriend did grab it before it bounced to the other side. 😌🖤

There's a mermaid in this video, but honestly the sunset over Lake Michigan is what's truly magical here. Missing those long summer nights already. It's so cold and so dark lately. But I still have some filming to do, so we shall test the water temperature soon... begrudgingly 🫠🖤

Just checked on how my videos were doing. You know how the caption of the rainbow mermaid video says something along the lines of "please Facebook don't post this 3 times." Well... it posted the same video FOUR times. 😂😭

I do hope they get around to fixing that. Sorry for that folks.
